I'm New Here
Sundays | 10:00a
We currently meet at the Collinsville - Maryville - Troy YMCA.
Feel free to come early and hang out before the gathering. Our gathering or otherwise known as "service", is where our church body comes together to celebrate the finished work of Jesus Christ! Our gathering is a weekly occasion.
What to Expect:
You can expect to be welcomed as you come through the doors of our gathering. You can wear whatever makes you feel comfortable and expresses who you are. Our gathering last 1hr and 30 minutes. We begin our gatherings each week with a Call to Worship and begin by singing songs together. You will then hear a sermon that is derived from scripture as our teaching team will teach and preach the word of God. We typically have the opportunity to go out to eat somewhere in the city of Collinsville after the gathering. All are welcome to come!
How about the kids?
You are welcome to keep your kids with you or let them learn with and get to know our other Heights kids. We have a very secure and safe environment for your children. Find out more about Heights Kids here. You may want to come early and get them checked in before the gathering. We have a very safe check-in process we will walk you through when you arrive.
On Sunday Mornings, the Heights Church family in and around the Metro-East gathers together to celebrate the finished work of Jesus. These gatherings are made up of several people who believe in Jesus as well as many people who do not believe in Jesus. We believe this gathering exists for us to gather together and celebrate the work Jesus is doing within our Missional Communities throughout our community.
During this time together our aim is to give you a more clear understanding of who Jesus is. We do this through a variety of ways: liturgy, prayer, sacraments of baptism and communion, and preaching the gospel.
For us, Missional Community, is the primary way we live out our Identity as the church in the everyday Rhythms of life. At our Sunday Night gatherings we celebrate, share stories, and are encouraged to keep being who we are in Jesus.
