GATHERING TIMES

Sundays at 9:00AM + 10:45AM

231 South Bluff Road, Collinsville, IL 62234

We gather weekly to worship God the Father, Jesus the Son, and the Holy Spirit through song, preaching of the scriptures, praying, giving, communion and fellowship. The purpose of our Sunday gatherings is to remember and celebrate the work of Jesus that we witness within our Missional Communities throughout the week.

Come as your are. You can usually find us in jeans and a t-shirt. We gather just south of the I-55 exit in Collinsville off of Route 157.

What about Kids/Students?

Bring them! We believe our Kids and Students are a vital and important part of our community. The way we think about our Kids and Students at Heights is like this:

Heights Kids - Infants through 5th grade

Heights Students - 6th grade through 12th grade

The kids and students at Heights Community are a huge part of our congregation. We are excited to teach and to pour into the future leaders of the Church.  Our goal is to create an environment where kids are safe, loved and pointed to Jesus in every area of their life.

On Sunday mornings, all kids get checked in at the check-in desk. Infant and Toddlers may go to their class while preschool-5th grade are invited to worship with us through song and liturgy as a church. As we move into a time for teaching, Heights Kids are dismissed through the back doors of the sanctuary where they will meet their teachers and go to their class. In our classrooms we teach through Explore the Bible. Explore the Bible takes our kids from Genesis to Revelation teaching them that Jesus is the ultimate hero. We spend time praying over, speaking truth, and engaging our kids through games, crafts and fun!.

Heights Students are invited to sit with their parents, or the rest of Heights students in the front left area of the sanctuary. The Students have their own gathering that is specific to their learning needs that takes place on Sunday Evenings. Their Sunday Gathering is in no way meant to be a substitute for teaching them how to partake in corporate worship with the rest of their church family. During the Sunday Night Student Gathering, Volunteer Leaders equip students with the gospel, spend time in prayer, and teach them what it looks like to live on mission in every area of their life.

Our Kids and Students are also welcome to join in with parents in any one of our Missional Communities that meet throughout the week. If you would like more information and/or have any questions, please contact our Director of Kids, Jess Franz.
